Atyno ("Atyno", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Atyno online scheduling and meeting management platform available at https://atyno.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can control your information when using Atyno.

By using Atyno, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an Atyno account, we may collect information such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile information, including profile picture when provided through an authentication provider
  • Time zone and scheduling preferences
  • Account and authentication information necessary to provide the service

1.2 Booking Information

When someone books a meeting through an Atyno booking link, Atyno may collect information provided during the booking process, including:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Meeting date and time
  • Time zone
  • Information or notes voluntarily submitted by the person making the booking

This information is used to create and manage the requested appointment and to provide relevant notifications.

1.3 Calendar Information

Atyno provides calendar synchronization as a core feature of its scheduling service.

When you connect a supported calendar account, such as Google Calendar, Atyno requests access to calendar information necessary to provide calendar synchronization, availability management, conflict prevention, and appointment scheduling.

For Google Calendar, Atyno currently requests the following OAuth permissions:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events— to obtain and manage calendar events required for appointments created through Atyno.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly— to read calendar information needed to determine availability and prevent scheduling conflicts.

Depending on your calendar configuration and the functionality being used, the calendar information accessed by Atyno may include event dates and times, calendar information, event identifiers, and other calendar event data necessary to provide synchronization and scheduling functionality.

Atyno uses this information only to provide the calendar-related functionality requested by the user.

Atyno does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, behavioral profiling, selling data, or unrelated purposes.

1.4 Google Account Information

If you choose to sign in to Atyno using Google, we may receive basic account information made available through Google authentication, such as your name, email address, and profile information, as permitted by the Google authorization flow.

We use this information to create and authenticate your Atyno account and provide the service.

2How We Use Information

Atyno uses collected information only for purposes related to providing and improving the Atyno service, including:

  • Creating and managing user accounts
  • Providing personal booking links
  • Displaying and managing user availability
  • Synchronizing calendars
  • Preventing scheduling conflicts
  • Creating and managing appointments
  • Creating calendar events requested by users
  • Supporting Google Meet or other supported meeting integrations
  • Sending booking confirmations, reminders, and service-related notifications
  • Providing customer support
  • Maintaining the security, reliability, and functionality of the platform
  • Detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and unauthorized use
  • Improving the performance and usability of Atyno

3Google API Services User Data

Atyno's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data accessed through Google Calendar is used only to provide features that are visible and directly relevant to Atyno's scheduling and calendar synchronization functionality.

Atyno does not:

  • Sell Google user data.
  • Use Google user data for advertising or targeted advertising.
  • Use Google user data for creditworthiness, lending, or similar eligibility decisions.
  • Use Google user data to build or maintain advertising profiles.
  • Transfer Google user data to data brokers.
  • Use Google user data for unrelated purposes.
  • Use Google user data for training generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Atyno does not transfer Google user data to third parties except where necessary to provide a user-requested feature, comply with applicable law, protect the security of the service, or as otherwise permitted by the applicable Google API policies.

Where third-party service providers process data on Atyno's behalf, they are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide the relevant service and under appropriate contractual and security controls.

4Calendar Access and User Control

You can disconnect your Google Calendar or another connected calendar from Atyno at any time through the available account settings.

You may also revoke Atyno's access directly through your Google Account security settings.

After calendar access is revoked, Atyno will no longer be able to access your calendar through the revoked authorization.

Revoking calendar access does not automatically delete your Atyno account. If you want your Atyno account and associated information deleted, you may submit a deletion request as described below.

5Information Sharing

Atyno does not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share or disclose information only when reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Atyno services you request.
  • Process bookings and send service-related communications.
  • Operate hosting, infrastructure, authentication, email, calendar, meeting, analytics, and other essential service components.
  • Protect the security and integrity of Atyno.
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or valid governmental requests.
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Atyno, our users, or others.
  • Complete a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.

Third-party service providers that process information on behalf of Atyno may access only the information necessary to perform their contracted services.

6Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Atyno services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests.

Connected calendar information and related authorization data are retained only as necessary to provide the calendar synchronization and scheduling features.

When information is no longer required for these purposes, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

7Data Security

Atyno uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures include the use of secure communications such as HTTPS/TLS and appropriate access controls for systems that process user information.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and connected accounts.

8Cookies and Similar Technologies

Atyno may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to:

  • Maintain user sessions
  • Authenticate users
  • Remember preferences
  • Provide security features
  • Understand and improve the performance of the service

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect some Atyno functionality.

9Third-Party Services

Atyno may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar, Google Meet, email providers, hosting providers, authentication providers, and other infrastructure or service providers.

When you choose to connect a third-party service, that service may process information according to its own privacy policy and terms.

Atyno requests only the permissions necessary for the relevant functionality and does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

10Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Atyno account and associated personal information.

When a valid deletion request is processed, Atyno will delete or anonymize the applicable personal information, subject to information that we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.

You may also revoke Atyno's access to Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account security settings.

11Children's Privacy

Atyno is intended for professional and general adult use. The service is not directed toward children under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Atyno, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

12International Data Processing

Atyno may use infrastructure and service providers located in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable measures to protect the information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

13Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Atyno after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
